Mrs. Butler took it upon herself to cut off all contact with the other members of Genie’s case and filed a request to gain permanent custody, which was rejected by Social Services and Genie returned to Children’s Hospital for a short period of time. Genie was then placed with Mr. Riddler, who took on many of the roles in the case. Mrs. Riddler worked with Genie and taught her how to express her rage through fits, instead of physically hitting herself. She soon learned to verbally communicate her degree of unhappiness. Mrs. Riddle also helped Genie to verbalize memories from her past. Genie was able to use words and her vocabulary continued to grow. She started going to a nursery school and learned sign language. Case members still disagreed on Genie’s prognoses. Some believed that Genie was still brain dead from birth due to abnormal brain activity; while others believed that she had mental delays due to isolation, showing that her mental age was increasing. Soon her mother realized that Genie was too much for her to handle and she was moved from foster family to foster family. Genie faced abuse and harassment during this time. In one situation, Genie was punished for vomiting, resulting in Genie refusing to open her mouth; ultimately, regressing Genie’s progress. Genie’s case strongly sides with the nurture debate. Emphasis is placed on Genie’s ability to overcome her early environment by allowing her to experience the world and to gain personal relationships. Genie’s ability to learn to verbalize after puberty shows that human development can occur and does not need to be learned during infancy. They all oriented to the new life, very peaceful, very beautiful and gentle. 3. What do you perceive as the most touching detail of the story? The image at the end of the story which described Kentuck holding Luck evokes innumerable emotion on me. Even being cruelly crushed, he still held The Luck of Roaring Camp in his arms. Death has once again been present – The death of ‘the Luck’. All the men put great love on Luck, their pride, their hope and their joy, especially Kentuck. From the first moment when Luck was born, â€Å"as Kentuck bent over the table curiously, the child turned and caught at his finger, and held it fast for a moment.Kentuck looked foolish and embarrassed something like a blush in his weather-beaten cheek†. He held his love tightly in his arms but Luck was pulseless. Dead. He confirmed that and smiled, â€Å"a smile lit the eyes of the expiring Kentuck†. â€Å"Dying, he’s taking me with him†. His last words were â€Å"Tell the boys, I’ve got the Luck with me now†. He was not afraid of death, no moaning, no groaning, conversely, he satisfied and content with his destiny that he were with Luck now and kept the baby for eternity. Story is closed with the very disastrous ending – The Death of three main characters: Stumpy, Kentuck and Luck. I feel as if they were a family with Stumpy as mother, Kentuck as father and Luck as their son.It can be seen that the story is the flexible and harmonic mixture of both Romanticism and Realism. And the author applied Realism to terminate his work, which, I suppose, will be accumulated in readers’ mind for the long run. The use of the Information systems like Navision can help the sales staff to get information about the production schedules, current stock levels, shipping and delivery dates for a particular retailer. Lack of balance between the Manufacturing and inventory levels: Due to the lack of coordination and flow of information between the different departments it is seen that there is no balance in the manufacturing process and management of the inventory levels of raw materials. Again as pointed out by Sam, there are leakage in the roofs of the inventory which may cause in the exploitation of the raw materials to the rain or humidity. This leads to the loss of the raw materials and funds to acquire them. This issue automatically creates a negative impression on the customers as they are not getting their orders on time. On the other hand, the sales staff of the organization are facing issues in managing the orders from the retailers. As the company is maintaining a single stock item number to describe one style of shot to the customers which meant that the sales staff of the organization need to manually maintain the colors and sizes required by a specific retailer in the market. Additionally, the financial manager of the organization maintaining the reports and other financial transactions manually that consumes lot of time and error prone.
